Mathis, Richard C.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 11, 2017, at the age of 74.  Beloved husband of Lynn.  Loving father of Chris, Cheryl (Claus) Frost, Cindy (Jerry) Loberger.  Devoted grandpa to Nick, Tony, Ian, Amanda and Molly.  Also survived by his sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews and niece. 

With heavy hearts, we have to say goodbye to an amazing role model.  Employed by Milwaukee County as a computer programmer for 32 years, Dick enjoyed refinishing/woodworking, musky fishing, traveling, summers at the lake and, most of all, attending his children and grandchildren's sporting activities.  These cherished memories will be kept alive in all of us and will help ease the loss of a very special man.

Visitation will be Saturday March 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88 W17658 Christman Rd. in Menomonee Falls, from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the caring doctors and incredible nursing staff of Elmbrook Hospital who were a blessing to Dick and his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dick's name to American Lung Association or Good Shepherd Catholic Church are appreciated.
