Alberswerth, Violet Emma Amelia (nee Theiss)  Age 97, of Brookfield, died peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Alberswerth. Loving mother of David (Cary Ridder), Deborah (Tom) Payden, and Dean (Linda). Proud grandma of Anna, David, Rachel, Katherine, Daniel, Matthew, and Elizabeth Rose; great-grandmother to Jonah Frederick and Quynh Violet.

She always felt her life was rich in blessings and opportunities found with her Christian faith, in time with family, especially her grandchildren, in service to others, in camping, hiking, reading, politics and as a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan.

 A Memorial Service is pending. To be held at Redeemer United Church of Christ (W220 N4915 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls). Vi's family will greet friends until time of memorial service. Private inurnment in St. John’s Evangelical United Church of Christ Cemetery, Mehlville, MO. Vi held these organizations close to her heart, so you may want to consider a contribution to Milwaukee Hunger Task Force, Church World Service, Redeemer United Church of Christ or Planned Parenthood.
